Founder
Jessica Safran is an executive coach and business consultant who works with forward-thinking, entrepreneurial organizations. Jessica's expertise focuses on helping client organizations get to the next level of growth and success by creating an environment that fosters excellence and commitment, while designing and documenting systems that promote smooth business operations. She has worked with entrepreneurs, executives, creatives, and independent professionals who are engaged in business, professional and personal growth. Industry specialties include New Media, Internet, and Information Technology as well as Advertising and Magazine Publishing. Specific areas of focus include the leadership, team, and systems of start-up businesses and new projects. Coaching niches include entrepreneurs, pregnant professionals and new working mothers.
Jessica is a graduate of Corporate Coach University and is a member of the International Coach Federation and International Association of Coaches. She is a Certified Behavioral and Values Analyst, using the DISC and PIAV assessments, and is certified by the Center of Creative Leadership as a Benchmarks 360 Degree Assessment Facilitator. She is former president of a Manhattan chapter of Business Network International and is currently a member of the Association of Spirit at Work. She is also an advisory group member for the New Energy Institute, Inc. whose mission is to increase awareness and understanding of new, environmentally friendly energy research and technologies.
Prior to the formation of VitalSignage, Jessica, as a member of its executive team, grew T3 Media, Inc., once the largest independent internet professional services company in New York providing a variety of strategic, creative, and technology services to online businesses. She also co-founded an alternative public high school in New York City, Vanguard High School, which is a member of the Coalition of Essential Schools, a national network engaged in restructuring schools to promote better student learning and achievement. She holds a master’s degree from the Interactive Telecommunications Program from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where she graduated with honors and holds a bachelor’s degree in Comparative Religion from Wesleyan University.
Jessica loves to travel and lived in Berlin where she met her husband shortly after the fall of the Berlin Wall. They currently live in New York City with their most important start-up project, their daughter, who was born in November 2004.
